AI learning

Learn on real work. Leave with a useful first step.

Help your team move from curiosity to useful, everyday practice. Our AI learning sessions use business tasks people recognise, with room to try, ask questions and understand what needs checking.

01

Make the learning relevant to the job

A list of AI features does not tell someone how to prepare a better customer follow-up or summarise a report responsibly. We start with the work your team does and the questions they have about using AI in it.

The aim is confidence with boundaries: knowing how to give a tool useful context, recognise a weak answer and decide when not to use it. People need practice reviewing output, not just watching a polished demonstration.

  • Choose tasks where AI can help and tasks it should not handle
  • Give clear instructions and appropriate source material
  • Check facts, tone and completeness before using an answer
  • Understand what business information should stay out of a tool
  • Turn a useful exercise into a repeatable team practice
02

The AI Starter Workshop

Our private team workshop starts with an intake survey so the session reflects your work. During the half-day session, the team works through two live exercises and discusses how the results apply to everyday tasks.

You leave with resources and a clear starting plan. A follow-up check-in gives the team a chance to discuss what they tried, where they got stuck and what might make a good first project. Current pricing and the full package outline are on our AI services page.

03

Safe habits before wider adoption

Teams often start using AI before they agree on what information may be shared. We make that a practical discussion: which tools are approved, what inputs are appropriate and who checks work before it goes to a customer.

We also discuss uncertainty. A confident answer can still be wrong. Learning to compare output with the original source and to ask for clarification is more useful than collecting a long list of prompts nobody maintains.

04

A workshop is a starting point, not a rollout

Training helps people understand the possibilities and make better decisions. It does not automatically connect your systems or turn a demonstration into a production workflow.

If the team identifies a useful, repeatable task, a focused pilot can be the next step. If the process or information is not ready, the right outcome may be to improve those basics first. We help you distinguish between the two rather than treating every exercise as a project to sell.

What the team takes away

A shared way to use and review AI

The workshop is designed around practical exercises, resources and a starting plan. Your team can identify a task to try, explain what information it needs and agree how to check the result. We do not claim a productivity percentage or a formal certification for attending.

Common questions

Do we need previous AI experience?

No. We use the intake survey to understand the team's starting point and choose relevant exercises, including for people who are new to AI.

Can the session happen in person?

In-person meetings are preferred where practical in the Ottawa region. Online meetings use Google Meet; we confirm the format when arranging the session.

Is this a technical programming course?

No. This is practical business training focused on everyday tasks, judgement and safe use. A custom technical or workflow project is scoped separately.
